Ukraine is a country made up of fertile plains and natural resources making it the target of many invaders over the years. Most recently it was part of the Soviet Union and to this day has a strong Russian influence, even if both governments don’t see eye to eye. South Korea is not on the list for many travellers however, it should be. Much of the country was ruled by the Joseon dynasty which lasted for over 500 years until the late 1800’s.
